Longer Nights...

Generally I try to be to work by 9am...which means I usually get out of bed around 8am. During the summer this seemed pretty easy because by 7am the sun was hitting me right in the eyes. However, this past week I've begun to notice a change in that. Now it seems like the sun isn't coming in my window until after 8am...which is making it harder and harder to get up in the morning.

Obviously this is a natural process that happens every year...but knowing that doesn't help a whole lot when my room is dark and my bed is comfortable first thing in the morning. Which is why I think we should have work hours that coincide with the day light. This could have the potential to have us working VERY long days in the summer...so we'd have to limit ourselves there. But in the winter we could have some really short work days...which seems great to me!

Of course I'm still all for us hibernating in the winter or perhaps making it illegal to work before 10am and after 5pm. Anything that allows me to sleep for extended periods of time seems like a good idea.
